1.Description:

The LRX-3 thermal conductivity tester employs the transient hot wire method, including the cross-line method and the parallel-line method. It mainly measures the thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity (heat diffusion coefficient), and specific heat capacity of solid and powdered materials at different temperatures. It features high precision, high resolution, and high reproducibility. It is controlled by a computer for automatic measurement. It is widely used in research institutions, quality inspection departments, factories, and mines for the measurement of material thermal conductivity.

This instrument is a new development based on the original LRX-2 model of our factory. It has improved measurement accuracy and reproducibility, and has a more reasonable structure and is easier to use. Model classification: LRX-3A mainly uses the cross hot wire method (the parallel line method can also be used to measure materials below 5w/mk); LRX-3B uses the parallel line method and can measure materials smaller than 25w/mk.

2.Standard

Reference standards for the instrument: GB/T 5990-2021 "Test Methods for Thermal Conductivity, Specific Heat Capacity and Thermal Diffusivity of Refractory Materials (Hot Wire Method)"; GB/T 17106-1997 "Test Method for Thermal Conductivity of Refractory Materials (Parallel Line Method)"; GB/T 11205-2009 "Determination of Thermal Conductivity of Rubber (Transient Hot Wire Method)"; GB/T 10297-2015 "Determination of Thermal Conductivity of Non-metallic Solid Materials (Hot Wire Method)" etc.

3.Configuration:

Including one LRX-3 test host, one software, one set of communication interface and data cable, one desktop computer, and one constant temperature test hotline. The constant temperature device and high-temperature line are optional items and will be configured according to the contract.
