Purpose/Strengths

This machine is a testing device used to evaluate the water permeability resistance of fabrics.

This machine can conduct two types of tests: the "low water pressure method" for low water pressure and the "high water pressure method" for high water pressure.

The "low water pressure method" has two different rates of water pressure increase: [10 cmH2O/min] and [60 cmH2O/min]. It is suitable for waterproof fabrics with relatively low permeability (such as waterproof canvas, tent fabric, surface-coated fabric, etc.) or for fabric products that undergo waterproof processing.

The "high water pressure method" can be applied at a water pressure increase rate of [100 KPa/min], and is suitable for fabrics that can withstand extremely high water pressure (such as fire-fighting water hoses, waterproof adhesive tapes, etc.).
