Usage Instructions

The heel bonding testing machine for leather shoes is suitable for leather shoes where the heel is bonded or nailed to the rear upper or the outsole. It is not applicable to molded-bottom leather shoes where the heel and the outsole are integrated as one piece.

Working principle

The process involves mounting the leather shoes on a special fixture and then stretching them on a tensile testing machine at a certain speed until the heel separates from the rear upper or the outsole. The force required for this is the heel bonding force being tested. The sample used in the test is the fully formed leather shoe after 48 hours of production. The test area must have no obvious defects, the heel must not have been compressed, impacted, or deformed, and there must be no significant deformation.
