ISO 13427 Geotextile Wear Test Apparatus Geotextiles Wear Resistance Testing Machine Speed Adjustable Geotextile Abrasion Tester
Introduction
The geotextile wear test apparatus, also known as the geotextile wear testing machine, uses the sand cloth - slider method to measure the wear resistance of geotextiles and related products. During the experiment, the sample is placed on a fixed platform and is rubbed with abrasive materials with specified surface properties. Under the control of pressure and friction actions, the abrasive material moves in a straight line along the horizontal axis. The wear resistance is expressed as the percentage loss of the tensile strength of the sample before and after the friction.
The geotextile wear test apparatus adopts the sand cloth/slide plate method. The sample to be tested is placed on the fixed upper plate and clamped by a clamp. The abrasive material is placed on the reciprocating lower plate and the ends of the plate are clamped by a clamp. After repeated friction under the action of pressure and friction, the wear performance of the sample is described by the percentage of tensile strength and the loss of strength.
Characteristics
