Purpose
The LED type glass edge light detector is designed in accordance with the national standard GB11614-2009 "Plastic Glass", and is an auxiliary device used for detecting surface defects of flat glass. It is also applicable for detecting surface defects of various types of glass such as tempered glass, insulating glass, laminated glass, and automotive glass.
The glass edge light detector adopts a lighting method combining green light source and white light source. It can separately detect the front and side (section) of the sample. Various defects on the glass surface and inside, such as scratches, pitting, and bubbles, can be clearly detected.
Principle
The LED type glass edge light detector is equipped with LED light sources in a closed light box. There is an opening slit on the light box, and the glass is inserted horizontally into the slit. The light enters the glass section. Due to the diffusion of various defects on the glass, the defects appear as bright spots on the glass surface, allowing for clear detection of various defects of the tested sample. At the same time, the front light detection mode of the instrument can be activated to allow the light to be irradiated from the front of the glass, facilitating the detection of defects.
