Main purpose
The softening point tester is widely used for the determination of the drop point and softening point of amorphous polymer compounds, to determine their physical and chemical properties such as density, polymerization degree, and heat resistance. It is used for the detection or quality control of components in substances like coal tar, asphalt, rosin, vaseline, lubricating oil, synthetic resins, and various ointments. It can replace the traditional Ubbelohde drop point determination method. The PID temperature is precisely controlled, with digital display of readings, high accuracy, and stable performance. It complies with the GB8728-88 standard and is in line with relevant standards such as ASTM, DIN, and ISO.
